Intown Golf Club offers private golf lessons to members and non-members. We have highly qualified teaching pros at all our locations who can help you dial in your game using state-of-the-art Trackman technology. Lessons are available every day of the week. John Hall

Director of Golf, Atlanta - Buckhead

After playing collegiate golf at Berry College in Rome, GA, John began his professional career working at Cherokee Town and Country for over five years. At Cherokee, John moved up the ranks from outside service manager to Senior Assistant with a primary focus on managing the junior golf program. After leaving Cherokee, John took a position to Wade Hampton, a top-25 golf course in the country. In late 2019, he committed to being a part of the Intown team as Director of Golf. In the interim, he spent just over a year at Ansley Golf Club. He has a passion for the operations of a golf club but also enjoys helping all skill levels of golfers improve their game in the ongoing chase for lower scores.

Austin Barreras

Assistant Golf Professional, Atlanta - Buckhead

Austin Barreras was an elite junior golfer ranking in the top 50 in the nation. He then went on to play collegiate golf at Jacksonville University. After graduating, Austin played professionally for 7 years — playing in Web.com, Q Schools, Monday Qualifiers, and Mini Tours around the country — eventually playing on The European Challenge Tour. Austin is a certified Trackman Instructor and loves sharing his experiences and extensive knowledge of the game and golf swing with others.
